Alberta Issues 36 Invitations in Latest AAIP Draw Focused on Health Care Professionals

In its most recent draw held on June 3, 2025, the province issued 36 invitations to candidates with job offers from Alberta employers in the health care sector.

This latest draw was conducted through Alberta's Express Entry-aligned Dedicated Health Care Pathway, marking the sixth health care-focused draw of the year. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required to receive an invitation was 60, highlighting Alberta’s proactive approach to attracting essential health care workers to support its growing population and medical infrastructure.

To qualify under the Express Entry-aligned Dedicated Health Care Pathway, candidates were required to:

  • Possess a valid job offer from an Alberta employer in one of the nine eligible health care professions.

  • Provide proof of eligibility and the ability to practice in Alberta through the appropriate regulatory body.

  • Be eligible under a federal Express Entry program and maintain an active profile in the Express Entry pool.

Alberta received 4,875 slots for its 2025 nomination allocation. To date, 2,276 provincial nominations have been issued through its various immigration streams and pathways.
